Sample Itinerary
Day 1 Depart on your exciting tour to Arizona and the Grand Canyon! Arrive and check in to your overnight accommodations enroute. Relax and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
Day 2 Start the day with a continental breakfast. Then checkout and depart for a stop in Missouri. Remember to set your watches back one hour upon entering Missouri, which is located in the Central Time Zone. Arrive and check-in to your hotel in the St. Louis area. This evening, enjoy a visit to Union Station Marketplace for shopping and dinner on your own.
Day 3 Good morning! After a continental breakfast, checkout and depart for Oklahoma. Stop at the Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore, OK. See many artifacts and memorabilia that chronicle Rogers’ life. Later, check in to your hotel for a one-night stay. Relax and enjoy dinner on your own.
Day 4 Start the day with a continental breakfast. Then checkout and depart for New Mexico. Remember to set your watches back one hour upon entering New Mexico, which is located in the Mountain Time Zone. Arrive and check-in for a two-night stay. Enjoy an included dinner this evening.
Day 5 After a continental breakfast, meet your guide and depart on a tour of Albuquerque including the Historic Nob Hill District, Crossroads Mall and Historic Old Town. This afternoon, visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and gain new insights into Native?American lifestyles. Later, return to the hotel for an “afternoon siesta”. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 6 Enjoy a continental breakfast before you checkout and continue on to Flagstaff, AZ for a three-night stay. Check in to your hotel. Relax and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
Day 7 After a continental breakfast, experience one of the wonders of the world ~ the Grand Canyon! Enjoy an exciting day at the Grand Canyon Village and the South Rim where you can view the Canyon in all its’ splendor. An included dinner completes the evening.
Day 8 Start the day with a continental breakfast. Travel south to Montezuma Castle National Monument, an ancient five?story Indian dwelling. Enjoy a visit to the Visitor’s Center before taking a self-guided tour of the park. Then, continue on to the "Red Rocks" of Sedona. Later, travel through the rugged beauty of Oak Creek Canyon on your way back to Flagstaff. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 9 After a continental breakfast, checkout and depart for Albuquerque, NM. Visit the International Balloon Museum, the world’s premiere facility dedicated to the art, culture, science, history, sport and spectacle of ballooning. Later, check in to your hotel for the evening. Relax and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
Day 10 Start the day with a continental breakfast. Then checkout and depart for Oklahoma, traveling along famous Route 66. See the fun-filled Cadillac Ranch enroute, a collection of Cadillac’s representing the “Golden Age of American Automobiles.” Remember to set your watches ahead one hour upon entering Oklahoma, which is located in the Central Time Zone. Arrive and check-in to your hotel later this afternoon and enjoy dinner is on your own.
Day 11 After a continental breakfast, checkout and depart for Missouri for an overnight stay. Enjoy a visit to a local casino in the St. Louis area including a dinner buffet. Later, check-in to your hotel for the evening.
Day 12 Start the day with a continental breakfast. Then, checkout and depart for downtown St. Louis and a tram ride to the top of the St Louis Gateway Arch. Later this afternoon, depart for your final overnight stay in Ohio (based on routing). Remember to set your watches ahead one hour upon entering the Eastern Time Zone. Relax and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
Day 13 Good morning! Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel. Checkout and depart on a safe journey home with many exciting memories of your tour to Arizona & The Grand Canyon!
